Great life events

This weekend has been full of fun family events. On Thursday night, Andrew, Lindsay and Riley flew in from Pittsburgh.

On Friday, the reception for my niece, Katie was held. She married the man of her dreams, Michael King. The reception was held at the Old Rock Church. Katie was such a beautiful bride.

After the reception is over, we take a minute to sit and relax.

Andrew and Lindsay help keep Alyna and Tina entertained while they sit at the guest book. Notice the cute tree. Bonnie and Mandy made these for the centerpieces. They were different and fun.
I got to take Riley for a bit and showed him off.
On Saturday, we had the wedding luncheon and then headed up to the temple for the ceremony. It was a beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the mid 50's.

We all waited anxiously for them to come out.

On Sunday, Andrew blessed Riley. They did it in the first ward where Lindsay's dad is the bishop. Andrew did a good job and Riley was awake but quiet through the blessing. The amazing thing was that both of Riley's grandfathers and all four great-grandfathers were there and participated. That was so remarkable. Lola made the little suit he was blessed in.

We also had our friend Samantha came spend the weekend with us. It is always so fun to have her come and although she has really comes to see her fiance, Tyson, we enjoy the time they spend with us. They will be married in May and live in Provo for the summer.
